Niall Diamond AdminThis is a great idea. At present, this is a limitation of the ERP/Backoffice systems. We would need the ability to send them 1500 skus in one request and have them run through their complex pricing logic then return all 1500 prices, sorted from high to low, and do it all in under ~500 milliseconds.

GarethHow about some form of hybrid model, using the background pricing modules to do the search - live pricing would drive the displayed pricing - but the pricing rules, updated overnight say, would give an element of searchability on pricing (even if not 100% accurate in all cases).

Niall Diamond AdminCool idea @Gareth. Can't wait to see what other store owners think about the idea.

David UrwinThis would be great to have. It’s been one of the limitations of a separate back office / store solution. As said before even. How about if this only kicks in if a search of more than two words is entered. Ie, doesn’t work for “red” but does for “red A4 paper”. Therefore reducing the number of SKU requests?

Sally HarrisonWe've been asked for this many many times and certainly would be a great feature even if not 100% accurate

Peteto search on low to high price is on every website !!! I have looked at all my local competition and also the big boys and all do low to high , and "our" search options are pretty meaningless... "popular" "relevance" "description a-z" what do any of this actually mean or achieve ??? definately need low to high price on evo... maybe it could kick in with a minimum of key words as suggested already ? good idea

Keith Hagerty (GOS)I just feel this is something that is just expected. This should not even be an enhancement needed. It should just be part of the site.

Jon ThorpeIs this ever coming? weve asked for it since we switched to Evo about 5 years ago. I keep hearing rumours and agree its essential. Exertis has just switched to Evo site and we used their old site regularly even though it was slow and terrible. We would prefer to use there old site than the new one with to price sort. Having no ascending price search has really highlighted to us that its essential for our own customers. This should be top priority to come up with a solution.

Oliver SmithAs a new EvoX user this is our most requested feature by customers by some distance.
I have lost count of the number of conversations that go.... "we really love your new website, its so much better... but... sort by price" -

Keith HagertyThis is a must have in today's competitive eCommerce environment. Shoppers just expect it as SOP.

Keith HagertyThis just seems like one of those things that should be SOP. IF I told my customer we have sort by price they would say yeah we would expect that. Its just expected. Our current ERP has it limited to search results of 500 items or less. But it has it and EVoX should as well.

AWOn our legacy system, if the search results were less than 500, then you would get the option to sort by price. Any search that returned more than 500 results would not give you the option to sort by price because as Niall said, it's too much data to sort through in that short amount of time.
Perhaps EvoX could take that approach. -

richard hughesIf Amazon & Ebay have this feature it should be a must have feature for a dealers website too , you would think ECI would had the capabilty to fix this

Matt Brill MergedShould be able to sort by price ascending and descending, sometime it helps to sort by highest first to find the product you are looking for, like a case pack of pens instead of individual pens, etc.
