Move out-of-stock items to the bottom of the page automatically
While there is a way to remove out-of-stock items, it would be nifty to have a means by which the customer can still see them but they are all the way on the bottom of a search query/category - that way, they are encouraged to purchase the products that will arrive earliest. Also, it creates less friction for customers

Travis Merged1) Would it be possible to prioritise items with a positive inventory balance on the Category Product Sort. i.e. Stocked items prioritised automatically regardless of the Category Product Sort option.
2) Would it be possible to add a filter / facet on the listing pages to be able to select to only see items with a positive inventory balance -

Niall Diamond Admin@Travis Checkout the article on adding a Stock / Inventory filter to the storefront. https://docs.evolutionx.io/en/articles/2385136-toggle-to-display-only-in-stock-items This will give users a way to filter just or in-stock items

Kim ImbriglioIs there a way to prioritize stock status on the admin level? There are some categories that have 20 products with only one in stock but you would have to scroll down to find it. Would be ideal to have that in stock item first.

Niall Diamond"Removing/prioritising out of stock fusion managed products" (suggested by Jen on 2022-02-22), including upvotes (2) and comments (0), was merged into this suggestion. "When products are out of stock it states "call for availability". Some categories look clogged up with these products, could we have somewhere to either turn them off or prioritise them to the bottom of the category? Or preferably both options."

Rob HoranTotally agree with this requirement. As said above, some categories are clogged up with out of stock items needing the user to advance a few pages before hitting something that is in stock. Which, of course, the user would probably go looking somewhere else. Prioritizing in-stock items is a key requirement

Kim ImbriglioThank you....Very excited to turn this feature on! I'm not sure if it is just me but I am not seeing the new option. Under Store Preferences > Product Search I am only showing Select A Search Recipe and below that Search Assist and Other Settings below that. I do not see a Product Display area.

Graham Taylor Admin@kim The toggle is in a different location. Try Store Settings >> General >> Store Preferences >> Product Display look for "Prioritise in stock items (Search & Category result pages)"

Graham TaylorGreat release ....well done! Couple of points to consider though....can we make it mandatory for any Fusion catalogue to include a stock feed...and...a small tweak to make a "higher priority" for products with local stock so they sit first before the wholesalers stock?

ChadThis feature does not work with live inventory from ERP. Please improve to include this functionality with live inventory.
