Ability to block the ability to backorder items online - By Item
In the product page, it would be nice to have a option to not allow backorders for that item online.
Then, if the item is in stock, the customer can only add the stocked amount. Anything over that quantity would not add to their cart.
Non stock items that were selected wouldnt be able to be added to cart if no inventory in stock.

Has this feature been enabled for TIMS users yet? Last comment on this was 2/04/25 stating it may not be enabled for TIMS users yet and a team would reach out to me. I have not heard back from anyone on this. -

Ted FlavionThis says it is done and is a existing feature, could someone show me how this is done?
I know we can manually set minimums and maximums for items, however my suggestion was to have a option that would turn off the ability for that item to be backordered. We would want to control this by item, if we have a item that we dont want to have backorders on etc.
- If the item is in stock, only the amount in stock would be able to be added to the cart. No backorders
- If the item is out of stock, they cannot add it to their cart. -

They allow you to create specific rules around when to enforce stock checks for suppliers, branches, and even groups of products. https://docs.evolutionx.io/en/articles/9259712-inventory-display TIMS customers are not enabled yet but on the list.
