Don't Display Price of Swapped Item on Original
If there are hard swaps coming from DDMS, the swapped price displays on the original item. This leads customers to believe they can get that product at the swapped item's price. This is causing many complaints. Instead, if an item is hard swapped, it should show the original item's price and list the swap as a suggestion (or indicate somewhere with an icon that there is a similar item) BEFORE they click ADD TO CART. On our old Eci system, it would simply hide the swapped item. You could still see the reference to the original because it listed the referenced SKU in parenthesis. We feel this is a much better shopping experience for the customer. See attached image for examples of differences between EvoX and Eci platforms.

Shawn WestphalIn DDMS, if an item is a type 5 swap, then it will display the original price, but all other types of swaps will display the price of the substitution. Can there be a global setting option to only display the original item's price no matter what? This would provide each dealer with better control of pricing.

AWThis is bad logic. The hard swap is not always the same unit of measure, so when you show that price on the original item, the customer thinks they can get it for that price. DDMS Swap types 2,3, and 4 should not show the swapped item's price. Just show the original price for all swap types. Currently, only swap type 5 works that way.
