Quick order should read an item's contract status through DDMS

If a user orders an item through quick order that is on their contract in DDMS, EvoX currently doesn't realize it's on contract if the item is only in DDMSPLUS. Is there a way to check the contract status of items while pulling them in quick order?
This is a big deal when items on contract don't need to be sent for approval.
