We have found that occasionally an order that requires approval has remained unnoticed by the approver because it gets lost within their inbox. Would it not be a useful option to be able to send a reminder notification that the order still requires attention/authorisation? I know it would be extremely useful for us and the clients.

Absolutely we need this feature - there are lots of order just left on hold waiting for approval = lost sales

This is a good addition. It would be useful to develop this further with an option to automate / schedule the sending of the reminder emails for orders awaiting approval after a specified number of days.
