Dispatch Email to Customer
I suggest adding a function that allows a customer to receive an email when the order status is changed to dispatched. Customers would appreciate this. It would be a handy function

This should be a fairly easy addition to make.
The email functionality is already present for sending order confirmation emails. All that is needed is a global tickbox setting (off by default so as not to change EvoX behaviour for anyone who doesn't specifically change it) where we can choose if an email is sent when we set the order to complete (or dispatched, or whatever), and then changing the status of the order would trigger the email if we had chosen that option in the global settings.
For additional functionality there could specific email template for "part-shipped" and "fully shipped", triggered by the existing order status options.
I've talked to some back office suppliers and they don't have this functionality either, so it is crazy that between the e-commerce software AND the backoffice software there is no option to perform this very basic e-commerce functionality... -

JohnThis is standard practice on every other e-commerce platform I've used, and reduces "have you dispatched my order yet?" queries. Can't really think of any good reason for *not* having this functionality as at least an option.

JohnGreat, just got our first online review (unsolicited). 3 stars as they complained about our "poor communication" as they had no idea when their delivery would be delivered as there was NO DISPATCH EMAIL.
We've spoken to Prima and Calidore and despite all their fancy EDI connectivity to the suppliers, which means they know exactly when it's been dispatched, they seem incapable of triggering a dispatch email as well.
Seriously, how hard is it to send an email to the customer! Just add a button, or link it to the "shipped" status or something... END CUSTOMERS EXPECT THIS. -
